A nice evening with my #1 fishin' buddy :)

Grabbed the ultra lights and some worms and headed down to the dock after work tonight. I caught a monster channel catfish of about 8 inches and then Lexi came down and showed me how to do it right We ended up catching 3 all together in about an hour and missed a couple more. Lake is still pretty muddy but I did see a couple stripers rollin on bait so I may give it a shot tomorrow. Anyway heres some pictures Sorry about a couple being dark the flash was on :speechless1:

That is a great report buddy i really like to here when the kids get to go along it means more to them than you know, i bet she caught more than you did to LOLOL thanks for sharing terry them are still some good eating that size.

She sure looks happy fishing, with somebody she loves dearly.

Those other catfish she was holding up are white catfish while I used to enjoy them from a couple lakes in jersey they taste absolutely horrible from lake lanier. I tried them twice and couldnt even finish a whole fillet. I guess the forage base being shad and herring as apposed to shiners sunnys and chubs make for a different taste quality. But the channel catfish under 5lbs taste fine but I have yet to find a lake with channels that dont lol
