Check this out, a lot better and easier than using a steel and flint to start a fire and been around a lot longer. I found a site and sent it over to ridge to check out and he found this in the site. It's pretty dang neat and really easy to start a fire with. You'll have to thank ridge for the discovery, and if any of you make your own we want to see the pics of them. I know there are several people on here that will have one made in a day or so, wish I had a job in a machine shop now, I know I would have one made in nothing flat.

Heck papa, you can make one in your garage, there simple to make, and they work just like you saw, the only problem Ive ever had with them is the seal goes bad pretty quick with the O ring because of the heat"
