They sure are nice ones I tell ya Im gonna petition the US government to divert the red river down here to Georgia so I can get in on those quality cats too

Thanx all. For all the late water we had this year and the rivers being so high we had a good year. I got more pics these were just a few I had posted else where. Average night on river for channels are 12-20 lbs consistant with average of 15 cats per night. Craig

buddy them are some sweet looking fish, i really need to get up that way next year and get together with ya and do a little cattin.

I hope next year is as good as the year b4, we had a decent year this year with size, consitantly and averages on the 2 rivers we fish. But we never got into any of the 25-30lbrs like the year b4. We didn't get anything above 20lbs this year. I took a lot more biggins last year but had a lot more action and consistant fishing this year. So really I should say that I want the best of the last 2 years this coming spring.

Red River of the North: I fish in the Fargo area and about 30 miles north and south of town. The average depth is about 12' but it has its holes, we found one this year 33' that shelved nicely and had a ton of structure. It was saved for last boat trip of the season when the big cats were moving deep. Can't tell yah what happened we never got to hit it, work got busy again and day lite ran out so well have to wait til spring.

Sheyenne River: I fish this all over the place, it's close to my house. It is a tributary of/off the Red River and holds some decent cats and is always a place I can take a newbie to catch at least a 10-12lb fish his first outing and a couple to match, nobody fishes this river for cats but I sure hit it a lot.

We have spring walleyes coming up here soon also keep that in the back of your head. Its a little more hunting but we always get our limit.
