Weather patterns have a big roll play in the fish biting, but i think that the barometric pressure in the form of a cold/warm front is a key factor. But there are multiple factors that play into whether you put fish in your bucket or not, such as water temperature, water level, water clarity, flow rate (current), oxygen content, snow cover, predator/prey, fishing pressure. Around here in the winter time is see these patterns and if you can understand and figure any of them out, you can at most times find a few fish for the frying pan good luck on the hard water. cheers cheers cheers
