I Just Don't Get It

Saturday Morning Someone Dropped Their Front End Of Their f150 Through On Elizabeth One Of My Old Stomping Grounds That I Fished For 35 Years. It Was Only Out Maybe 20 Feet Out From The Access Right On An Ice Heave But There Has Been Others That Have Fallen Threw In This Same Area In Years Past These People Really Need To Get Some Education Before Venturing Out On The Frozen Waters. I Tell Ya They Are Lucky That It Was Only A Couple Feet Deep Because Of Low Water Or Things Could Have Been A Hole Lot Worse.

They got a lot more guts than I do that's for sure.

3 ft of solid Ice I might go out on it in a vehicle, but I really don't like ice water other than to drink.

They must be looking for a quick way to die.

But It's Not A Quick Way And It Is Very Painful Till You Actually Lose Consciousness, And Even There Because Your Body Is So Cold You Can Survive For Up To 1 Hour After You Go Under The Ice.

I agree with you, John... I fell through the ice when I was 4. Scares the life outta ya, that's for sure! I don't think I would ever venture out on the ice again!

if there has been more than one that has went in right there mike .....wonder if theres a spring under there in tha area ,,,,,might make the ice a lil thinner there .......only time i drove out on the ice i had a lil ford ranger ......n it still scared me !!!!!!
