Folks I Think Other Than Spring October Is The Best Time To Go Out And Catch Walleye From Shore Weather It Be At The River Or From Your Favorite Lake. One Of The Ways That You Can Tell When The Walleye's Are On The Move And In A Feeding Frenzy Is When The Frogs Start There Migrating So To Speak. (( When You See The Leopard Frogs All Over The Place And On The Roads. )) This Is The Time Of The Season That You Will Find The Walleye's In Almost Any Depth Of Water Ranging From Mid Day Fishing Very Deep Water To Evening Fishing In Shallow Waters. ((50 Feet To Very Shallow 6 Inches)) Now The Water Temps Also Will Play A Big Part In How Deep They Are, Water Temps In The Low 70's Upper 60's You Can Find The Walleye Looking For Food (( Frogs )) In 6 Feet Of Water In Most Cases Specially After Dark But Still Find Them Deep. Rivers Are A Great Place To Fish The Shore Lines Around Rocks And Bridge Pilings For Walleye's You Can Really Pick Up Some Good Fish In These Areas, OH Ya Don't Forget Your Inlets And Outlets They Are Also A Good Place To Hook Into Some Fish Even Crappies If The Setup Is Right For Them. cheers cheers cheers
