Last nite's catch and the result.

Luke decided we oughta go diddypolin' last nite, as it was probably his last chance for the summer. River is getting low, we had to pick our way thru in a couple spots. Set out nine lines, fished a couple hours with no luck, then checked our lines on the way back to the boat ramp. Had a couple baits missing, but no fish. Needless to say, I wasn't real optimistic this morning when we went to check them. We did manage to have 2 on, a 5 and a 6 3/4 lb channel, so it wasn't a complete waste. Here's a pic of the fish, and what one of them turned into tonight. Fresh fish, green beans and tomatoes. Except for the cheese I melted on the beans, everything was alive and growing this morning. Fit for a king, at least in my eyes.

Holy Cow I Haven't Had A Breakfast Like That In A Long Time YUM YUM YUM Now I Am Hungry For Fish Which Will Be A Good Meal For One Day This Week. Buddy You Just Can't Beat A Fresh Meal Like That From The Garden And From The River, Congrats On Your Catches.
