| I have a comment to those people (no one on this site) who consider the great outdoors a dumping ground for all there garbage left behind in the water, on the shore, and all areas around where they were fishing.
As of about 5 years ago (right after my grandson was born) I started to bring along a garbage bag as one of my fishing extra's, hunting too. I constantly see cans, beer bottles, bags on shore and out in the water. It's one thing to lose tackle, line, etc in the water and not being able to retrieve it. But it is a whole other story about leaving one's waste products scattered all over the country side.
These people need to wake up and realize that some day this wil come back to haunt us all.
I ask everyone to help clean up the enviroment, however you can. I know we all want to pass on these fishing, hunting areas to the young people, and not have garbage laying all over the place, and heaven forbid..on the bottom of your favorite fishing spot.
Thank you all

| Well said Steve, That is one of my pet peeves , several years ago I saw a jerk throw 2 bags of trash off a bridge, luckly the water was down, and they landed on the bank, well when I was done fishing I picked them up and put them in the back of my truck, I was going to go threw them and find a address and get the jerk ticketed, now it was about 3 AM as I started home and as I drove by this old run down trailor I saw the vehicle sitting in the driveway, well I thought heck with it, I stopped my truck, and took the bags and headed up the driveway when I noticed the windows where down on the car, so being the nice guy I am, instead of waking them up, I opened the bags and filled his car up, and I noticed that they had a child, the trash bag had alot of used diapers in them, the temp was in the high 80s and humid, and they where calling for rain, so being the conciderate guy I am, I rolled up his widows for him!!! | |

| Hey Northstar:
So sorry to hear about your dificulties. If you are ever going to be in the Benson, Montevideo area and want to fish and possibly need some help getting a spot, just let me know. We all need to help each other. If everyone would lend a helping hand (no matter what it is) we would all be better for it. Keep things at "One day at a time" That's all any of us have.

| when ever I see trash in a river, lake, ditch, park I think of the tv commercial with the old Indian picking trash out of a river and at the end they showed a single tear rolling down his face. If they aired that commercial now I think the Indian would have the water works turned on hi!!! Rock I like your solution!!!! | |

| Last year I picked up over 300 beer cans on the beach where I fish in a ten day stretch.....There was a garbage can there but folks just tossed there garbage on the ground because they were too dang lazy to walk to the trash can....Stuff like that is why they shut down beaches and park areas....Ticks me off!! | |
