TWO NEW TOYS

I bought what I think is a very stout reel made by shimano, they are tekota 600's .
I told cajun that I was thinking of upgrading my reels and he suggested the tekota and was so adamant that he wanted to let me take one home to use it. What a guy not everyone would loan out a 200.00 set up!!
here they are mounted on shakespeare boat rods



I was going to put them on tiger rods but when I saw these for less than 20.00 and they had stainless eyes I had to try them!! Thank God for walmart

gosh pappy, if it turns out you don't like them, you can send them to me and I'll give them a good test for a few years. lol

Those will do the job,,fine reels.

I have several of those rods and they are tough I love them
