I don't really know the difference between the ticks..But I do know what they can do...My son got rocky mountain spotted fever from a tick ...He was only 2 years old at the time...We didn't know if he was going to live or die for along time..By the grace of God he lived...If you have never seen someone with this ...It will blow your mind..I hope I will never see anything like that again...

I still get ticks on me now and then. The worse case was in Michigan's Upper one summer day. I was messing around in the woods and oh my gosh. There were lots of them up and down my legs. Not nice!

I haven't seen any around here yet Mike, but then we haven't been out that much this past few weeks. They flew the Keating Valley, Powder River Valley and a lot of Baker Valley with helicopters shooting the coyotes for the ranchers, so there isn't much to hunt right now. But I do know that they will be out in force right now or very soon anyhow. The ticks I mean.

I don't have any trouble with ticks but fleas were bad last summer because it was so dry.

I just pulled a tick off me a few minutes ago. We put Frontline on the dogs, but it takes a while to kill the ticks, so they still have time to crawl on them and then get on me. We didn't have many last year. Probably due to the drought.
