Yesterday my oldest son brought me out some trees to plant on the farm ((50 trees for 38.00 bucks)), he got a real good deal on some Blue Spruce and some Red Maples that will look cool growing all over the farm, Here are a few pics from yesterday and i will take more pics today when we go and finish planting the rest.

I wisj I could get some cypress at that price...I'm thinking about planting some trees on the east side and south sides of the property for a wind block.

Good job on the tree planting, Mike. It'll make you a nice windbreak one of these days.

Not to mention a possible spot for deer stands.

We planted a few last year and I planted a Leland Cypress a few days ago. We had a bunch of little pines about a foot tall that we pulled up somewhere and planted but only one survived and it's doing real good. We pulled up a few larger ones about waist high last year and a couple of them are doing good but the others died.

I think i may buy more trees of different kinds than what i just planted and plant them also in the pasture, should have a forest in about 10 years lolol and the deer should start coming in, well as long as they don't come in and eat them. cheers
