I built my first adirondack chair yesterday...I have not put the ottomam together yet...This one was a test build from pine...The next ones will be cypress.

I'm seriously considering paint a set in Alabama Crimson Tide colors when it gets a little closer to football season....White frame and crimson red slats....Might do a few for the Auburn football fans too...White frame with the blue and orange slats.....They will be pricey though.

Yep....The reason they would be pricey is because the frame would be painted separate from the slats and everything gets a primer then 2 or more coats of good paint...and paint aint cheap these days.....Then I would have to put the slats on and hope nothing splits and splitting always happens.
