Myself I Like To Fish The Spring Into Summer Time Part Of The Year For Many Reasons Great Fishing, New Wild Life Being Born, Beautiful Weather, The List Goes On For Me.

I vote Spring, because its best time to catch crappies and catfish in April and May for me.

Hard to beat a summer day dawning and fishing for cats, but it's hard to pick. I love fishing in all the seasons. Each has it's own appeal.

I voted winter because of the big blue cat, but I like all the season's! They all have there benefit's!

Winter for me since I don't have a boat. I can get about anywhere on the ice.
Fall and spring are second for great shorefishing oppurtunities.

Spring for crappie and bass
summer for all night channel cattin a hot hole
Fall for looking for the hog catdaddy hang outs
Other than that I really don't like to fish

I know just what you are talking about I fished by myself for years until last year and the waves were hitting the shore hard about 4 ft rollers in the cove and I saw this camper and asked him if he would put me in the water so I wouldn't beat up my boat and he said yes . the rest is history his name is ORVIL . I told him if he doesn't have any plans why not start fishing with me! He is the only one crazy enough to fish with me in all types of weather, rain, wind COLD! To this day he hasn't put one blue in the boat Shocked

but he keeps on going, he is 70 years old and will not take advice until he can't stand it any longer then he changes up to do what I am doing !! He is really funny about it, I mean when you see his happiness and excitement to net a fish for me or even hand me the net but he will not change till he chokes
