| A Clearwater woman looking for cigarettes needed more than a smoke, police say.
She needed some clothes.
Monica L. Wood, 52, was arrested early today and faces misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct.
According to Pinellas County sheriff’s deputies, Wood knocked on a person’s door late during the night while in the nude to ask for cigarettes. Deputies said they later found the suspect walking through a nearby mobile home park wearing only boxer shorts.
Wood was arrested at 2:35 a.m. in the 2400 block of Gulf to Bay Blvd. Her bail was set at $250.
Wood was released shortly after noon today. | |
