It has been about the same here too Rick. I heard it was supposed to be in the 70s next weekend. I hope they are right. I still haven't caught my first big channel this year. I can't complain too much though. Last year I didn't start fishing until April.

LOLOL@Rick! I agree! It's WAY too freaking cold to do any fishing here too... I'm SOOOOOOOO ready for spring and the warm weather to get here and stay for a while. This has been a VERY long, cold, and hard winter. I'm ready for winter to go away! LOL

I hear ya there Rich. Ive been missing a lot of days on the water lately the water temps are up one day down the next wind howling one day not howling the next and the stripers are feeding on bait no bigger than the size of a quarter. I wish the weather would get to one point and hold cause its keeping me off the water and in bass pro shops and its getting worse week by week LOL I now have more fishing stuff than I need probably but I cant stop myself. Another $265 yesterday and about $150 last week. I went for the big sale they had and didnt buy one thing that was on sale scratch

Yes too cold for human fishing. Why it finally got up to 61 today. Yesterday it was close to 80. I got my whole garden planted yesterday so now perhaps I can find a day off for fishing. It is about time. Much work lined up however but heck, better let some of the work slide. Fishing is good for relaxing and calms the brain from our daily work and routine.

Jerseycat I think you have a problem. And the problem seems to be getting bigger all the time. It might be time to set back and look at youself. Very Happy

I think I may have found the silver bullet for the small bait problem. Actually a couple of them now I just gotta wait for the wind to die down shes been howling pretty bad for a while now.
