Well I went out and got some of the decorations taken down and some limbs picked up and stacked on my pile. Then I started my truck up and pulled it a little forward so I could get in the back, then came in and told mama I was going to get some gas in it. Walked out and got in, shifted it down to drive and stepped on the gas, oooops the shift cable broke on the way to drive and it went backwards, almost hit my shed. Well couldn't start it back up unless it was either in park or nutral so had to call my cousin and get him to hold the brake on while I layed under it and shifted the gears. Ok now we are running and in drive and we take off for the Ford garage. When I have two blocks to go here some dumb b h starts up from the stop sign and almost hits me broadside, duh, my truck is a plum color and not hard to see, I hope she didn't read my lips cause I wasn't to happy at the time. Well made it to the garage and they said they can't get any parts till January 3rd which isn't any big thing. Does cell phone ring a bell in this situation??
