Good morning everyone today is Tuesday January 13 2009 and oh baby it's cold outside.

Time Is ( 6:30 AM )

Current Temp Is ( -28 Below Zero )

Winds Are From The ( NW )

Winds Are Blowing At ( 5 MPH With Gusts To 10 MPH )

Windchill Factor Is At ( -42 Below Zero )

Humidity Is At ( 75% )

Dewpoint Is At ( -33 Below Zero )

Today's Expected High Is ( -5 Below )

Tonight's Expected Low Is ( -5 Below )

Good morning everyone are you staying warm this morning i hope so, this is the coldest temps we have had this year so far and it is cold. We have windchill factors at this point right now at -42 below zero making for WINDCHILL ADVISORY'S being out in this area and in many other areas around us and also the WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is still in affect till 12:00 noon today, folks it is very dangerous being out there whether you are walking or in your car so dress for the temps or just plain stay in doors if it allows you to. We are not going to warm up that much today fact we will stay below zero at -5 below for a high and the winds will keep it feeling even colder with windchill's in the double digit's all day long and into this evening. OK today we are going to start the day out partly cloudy this morning and very cold, then this afternoon we will make way for cloudy sky's and a 50% chance of snow again with accumulations of 2 To 4 inches and with the winds blowing at 5 MPH from the EAST will change directions and the winds will be blowing from the southeast from 5 To 15 MPH and yes causing the snow to drift again making travel a hassle again. Tonight it won't be as cold with the temp dipping down to -5 degrees below zero and yes more snow after midnight with 2 to 3 inches of additional snow and the winds will yet be shift again out of the north and blowing 10 to 15 MPH again making for some really cold windchill factors will it ever stop. OK here it is just in off the press like it or not here is another round of snow and a new WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for us.

no wonder warm air stopped it

CINCINNATI -- A persistent warm wind helped spare the Tri-State a mess for commuters on Tuesday morning.

A winter weather advisory declared for most of the Tri-State area as a cold front moved in, bringing with it snow and high winds, has been canceled by the National Weather Service.

A rain/snow mix was falling in many areas at 6 a.m., though temperatures above 32 degrees were keeping the roads wet but not icy. News 5's Eric Green said it appears that the temperatures will stay above freezing much of the morning, meaning the predicted 1-2 inch accumulations won't come to pass.

Green said much of the storm system has moved through before temperatures hit freezing, leaving scattered snow showers for the rest of the day.

Very cold air and fairly high winds will follow the snow on Tuesday afternoon as temperatures drop to the lower 20s by evening. Green said some wet roads could get icy before the wind blows them dry.

Another round of snow is expected Wednesday afternoon and evening.

A cold weather emergency was declared in Cincinnati and northern Kentucky for Tuesday through Friday, when temperatures were expected to remain below freezing and reach lows near or below 0 degrees by Thursday.

Low temperatures were expected to dip into the teens Tuesday evening, and gusty winds were expected throughout the day.

More snow and gusty winds were expected Wednesday, when the wind chill factor could bring temperatures to near 0 degrees.

A cold weather shelter was opened between 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. at 634 Scott St. in Covington.

Additional shelters will be open throughout the day to people who have valid Kentucky state identification. Click here to see the full list.

Snow & Freezing fog outside right now

Temp: 5°
Windchill: -4°
Humidity: 87 %
Wind Speed: NE 3 MPH
Barometer: 30.10" (1020.8 mb)
Dewpoint: 2°F (-17°C)
Visibility: 0.50 mi

As I sit here typing this, I am looking outside at the snow coming down hard again. It's not the heavy wet snow that I took pics of the other night. This is the small, dry flakes. Not a good mixture with the clipper system that we're starting to get, as it is going to be bringing wind with it. If it doesn't slow downn here soon, we're in for a nasty storm I do believe.

PAPA, I agree with you, it's ALL Mike's fault. Also agree with you on wanting to go fishing, but not on the ice or in the cold weather.. LOLOL

Good morning everyone it is Thursday January 15th 2009 and this morning is the coldest day of the year affraid

Current Time Is ( 7:30 AM )

Current Temp Is ( -31 Below Zero )

Winds Are Blow From ( W-NW )

Winds Are Blowing At ( 11 MPH )

Windchill Factor Is ( -56 Below Zero )

Humidity Is At ( 68% )

Dewpoint Is At ( -38 Below Zero )

Our Expected High For Today ( -10 Below Zero )

Our Expected Low Is ( -22 Below Zero )

Good morning everyone if you can call it that with as cold as it is, we have some very dangerous temps out there right now so if you don't have to be out in this crap don't go out they have even closed a lot of schools throughout the state do to the dangerous temps. Today even though it is very cold out there really isn't much to report other than just that, today it will be sunny but we will still have a WINDCHILL ADVISORY till noon but in my book it will be till this cold passes. We will only be looking for a high of -10 below but i don't think it will make that high, for tonight it will be clear shy's and we are going to drop way back down to -22 or colder in a lot of areas so it is a matter staying warm again and keeping the pipes thawed. Folks it is just a matter of using common sense out there and if you don't have to be out in it don't go out in it and stay warm, the winds are going to be a factor all day so dress in layers you can always take it off, have a great day everyone. cheers cheers cheers
