My son Tony

Got a call at 2 am this morning that Tony was admitted to the hospital. He has an abscessed tooth that got infected. The infection got so bad that it was swelling up and blocking his windpipe. He's awaiting emergency surgery today to remove the tooth and get the infection under control. Vickie is at the hospital and said he has a golf ball sized lump on his jaw. They are giving him a morphine drip in his iv for the pain. The surgery was supposed to be at 8 am this morning but I guess it's hard to find an oral surgeon today that doesn't have a hang over from last night!

sorry hear that ridgerunner i know what he is going thru i had one about the same size it makes hard to breath and hurts like well i cant say it. prayer sent

Thanks all. Just got a report from Vickie. The surgeon wants to wait until Monday to pull the tooth. He wants to let the antibiotics to have a chance to work on the infection, and he can't assemble his team on a holiday weekend. Tony hates hospitals so he's not happy with the decision. Well grandpa and grandma will be watching the grandkids this weekend.
