Got there at about 9:30 with fairly moderate temps and winds so didn't even take the shanty. :cold: Dragged the sled out to our normal winter spots to only find that certain small areas with structure were producing. The first shallow 4-5ft. area we fished was in a tree and produced some nice gills and a small bass. Then later in the day as it slowed down we moved "cross lake" to a steep dropoff with weeds that gave up many many nice gills once we found the weed edge at about 8ft. I did have a beautiful bass up to the hole only to see it fall off, Dad did too. :big: So all in all we ended up catching around 50 fish all which were keepable but we came home with 20 nice ones around 8in. or better. Ice was 6-8in. (Pic) Fish i'm holding was very close to 9in. but not quite-

Nice catch. 
Right now I would just about kill for some fresh bluegill.
We can't seem to get more than an inch or two of ice then the weather changes and it is gone. I personally will not go out on ice unless it is at least five inches. Don't think its gonna happen this year. :x

Very nice catch, Jonny! Glad you got some good fishing in today! I can't wait for it to warm up so I can go get some fair weather fishing in at Lake LaSuAnn!~!

nice looking batch of fish johnny and great report looks like your trip turned out for you thats for sure, congrats to you and your dad them fish will be very tasty im sure of that.
