Whisky Stick

Post by North Star on Sun Dec 16, 2007 9:16 am

O.K. I Learned This From A Family Friend Who Came From Oregon To Fish With Us Every Summer. Many Times We Catch That Bullhead That Weren't Looking To Catch, And 99% Of The Time The Hook Is Swallowed To Were You Can't Reach It With Your Fingers. O.K. Here It Is Find A Green Branch About A 1/4 Inch Thick And About 18 Inches Long But Flexible Meaning ((Bends Fairly Easy)), Now Stick That Stick Down In The Bullheads Mouth Till The End Of The Stick Is By The Hook, Now Spin The Fish I Circle And The Hook Will Pop Out Fairly Easy. Some Times You Will Break Your Line Because Of The Pound Test You Are Using So Be Careful And Also Check Your Hook To See That It's Not Bent All Weird. cheers cheers cheers
I Want To Add To This Tip That If Your Not Going To Keep The Fish After You Have Used This Tip Than Please Don't Use It, It Will Hurt The Fish And In Most Casses With Fish Like Bullheads And Even Other Fish They Will Die Because Of How Deep The Hook Is. cheers cheers cheers

Sounds good, but usually circle hooks don't get swallowed.
